HCFC-22 (also known as R-22 & to most consumers as Freon) has been the refrigerant of choice for Residential AC repair Hernando and heat pump systems for more than four decades. R1410a is an environmentally friendlier refrigerant which is Non-CFC. That meant that, if your system ever leaks, the escaping refrigerant won’t contribute to ozone depletion!
